Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on items that meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, with all tags attached.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Sale items or items purchased during special promotions (unless defective).
  • Intimate items, such as lingerie and swimwear, for hygiene reasons.
  • Gift cards and final sale items.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us:
    Email our support team at support@velvetlaneboutique.com or call us at +61 480009798. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Wait for Approval:
    Our team will review your request and provide you with a return authorization and instructions on where to send the item(s).

  3. Ship Your Item:
    Once approved, securely package the item(s) and send them to the address provided. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or the wrong item was sent.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If Approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.

Please Note:
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item). If you received free shipping on your order, a standard shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired product.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with a photo of the issue at support@velvetlaneboutique.com. We’ll prioritize your request and arrange for a replacement or refund.
